Juan Pablo SchiantarelliI

I am an atypical lawyer SCHIANTARELLI defines himself as an atypical lawyer. Connoisseur of the formal world of law, his perspective is casual, since what matters to him deep down is that his clients see him as an advisor and close, rather than as "the lawyer in a suit and tie." To reach this current philosophy, SCHIANTARELLI's legal experience is nurtured by his passage through the public and private sectors, as well as by his teaching activity. SCHIANTARELLI's first legal experience in the area of intellectual property and unfair competition occurred in the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI), in 1997. It was there that, in his capacity as Technical Secretary, he knew and learned a lot from PACON, who at that time was President of the INDECOPI Tribunal. This experience as a public servant at INDECOPI was very gratifying until 2000 because the contact with the cases was direct and profound. Experience in the private sector His experience in the private sector began in 2001 when he was part of one of the most important law firms in the country. It is there when he begins to make direct contact with the client and attend to his legal needs. This activity continues until 2013 where SCHIANTARELLI becomes Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property and Competition Area of another important law firm in the country and of course to date at Pacón & Schiantarelli. Preparing with the best Throughout those initial years, SCHIANTARELLI obtained a master's degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Alicante, Spain, in 2003. He was also constantly studying to improve himself in international institutions and organizations, such as the World Intellectual Property Organization ( Geneva), the European Patent Office (The Hague), the Max Planck Institute (Munich), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Alicante) and the World Trade Institute (Bern). Contributing to education SCHIANTARELLI's academic activity began in 2004 as a professor in the Master's Degree in Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law at one of the main universities in the country. To date, SCHIANTARELLI has expanded its teaching activity to a total of four prestigious universities in the country and even actively contributes with teaching activities and with publications for INDECOPI.
